|Third year in review, 2006

I have been rather remiss in not posting about the last five years. This is the third year.
Being a little insecure about my residency permit, I waited a year before I completed my media setup and put plants on the terraza and balcón. After three years, I replaced my old TDT tuner and DVDR recorder this winter with a newer one that incorporates both an analog and digital tuner. (I normally only watch TDT.) That should hold me for a while.
In June my partner and I took a one-week trip to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Lanzarote is one of the least visited islands. Still there were places to go and visit.
Taking a camel ride.
It's a very nice picture of you
Can you believe I've never visited Lanzarote?

I may look calm, but I was scared until once we got going.
Ruben of course took the picture.
I'd like to go back the Canaries, but this year there aren't so many "deals".

No way, with so much crisis and broken down prices!

it's because with such low occupancy rates they can't reduce the prices they have. Ruben's friend, Ángel, works at putting together "packages" (flight, hotel, etc.) and this year very few are being offered.
Chuck, Happy Birthday again!
