|I have a new faucet

Home of the Comisaría de Policía, Leroy Merlin
and of course the…
My kitchen faucet had been leaking for some time. So last week I finally got around to replacing. After I submitted my paperwork for my “tarjeta extranjero de identidad” at the Comisaría de Policía in Badalona, Ruben and I went shopping at Ikea, Decathlon and Leroy Merlin. The latter is a French worldwide home-improvement retailer. For those of you Stateside, think Home Depot or Lowe’s.
They had a good selection of kitchen faucets. I chose one that was “on sale” and has both stream and spray water flow plus an extendable arm. My old faucet only had stream flow and the arm was not extendible.
It turns out that the brand of the faucet, Martí, is actually a Catalán brand and probably made locally (not China). The faucet included all the connection hoses, so we didn’t have to buy any more parts.
Ruben said he would install it since it appeared to be easy. And so he did!

And here is the new kitchen faucet in all it’s spraying glory. You can even see a reflection of me taking the picture on the faucet head.
