Yesterday my son and I went to KFOG’s KaBoom in San Francisco. I had been to a KaBoom! a few years and enjoyed the fireworks show. My son mainly wanted to see Los Lonely Boys in a free concert. I’m not big on crowds and even my son remarked that he had “outgrown this kind of concert”. (He’ll turn 30 this summer.)
I thought that large crowds were bad in Spain, but now I think the US ones are worse. More pushing and bumping and conversations that make it difficult to enjoy the performers. And more police presence and crowd control compared to Catalunya.
On the other hand, we both thought the fireworks show was better than anticipated. Great “choreography” of the pyrotechnics.
