The expansion of the Catalonia International lgtib Film Festival

With the incorporation of Lleida and Girona, the FICGLB becomes the Catalonia International lgtib Film Festival. Lleida is already the new seat of The Barcelona International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, for this reason the councilmen of Culture and Civil Rights have signed an agreement with the director of the event. (LLeida and Girona, like Barcelona, are provincial capitals in Catalunya. Note the governmental sponsorship below.)

Out of 754 films submitted, 70 have been selected. Twenty countries are participating with short, medium and long feature films in the present festival. Some outstanding novelties are the presence of many young filmmakers who will introduce their works; the section dedicated to the documentaries will deal with controversial subjects. The Festival has invited Stephen Barris, director of communication of the ILGA, who will open a panel after the screening of a documentary on harassment and homophobia.

No he visto ninguna peli

I didn't see any films. Unfortunately I read about the festival today, and it ended yesterday.
