Medio Ambiente paga 580.000 € a Paramount por Una verdad incómoda.
The video of Al Gore will be seen for free in school.
The Ministry of the Environment is paying 580,000 € ($820,000 USD) to Paramount for An Inconvenient Truth. They will have 30 thousand copies of the documentary to send to schools that ask for them.
I have been a little surprised by the negative criticism concerning Gore’s winning of the Noble Peace Prize. As you probably know, he also won this year’s Principe de Asturias Prize for International Cooperation. I don’t remember seeing any negative comments when this award was announced.
Of course in some countries climate change and man’s contribution to it is being denied. Much of the criticism is being funded by corporations like ExxonMobil who have a vested interest in the status quo of reliance on fossil fuels.
