Aigua de València

One of squalidbear’s favorite drinks on a Sunday morning is a Mimosa. It is a cocktail-like drink composed of cava or other sparkling wine and chilled orange juice. It is traditionally served in a tall champagne flute with brunch. It’s so popular in València that it’s called Aigua de València or Water of Valencia.

València, a la vora de la mediterrània, produeix les millors varietats de taronja. Per això eixe cocktail, a base de suc natural de taronja va nàixer ací fa molts anys i duu el nom d’Aigua de València.

Valencia, on the shores of the Mediterranean, produces the best varieties of oranges. That is why this cocktail, based on natural orange juice, was born here long ago, and given the name of Aigua de València.
