[My Music |Paco, Paco, Paco]

For those of you who regularly read my blog, you know that I don’t usually post music video clips. So you can blame all of this on Ruben. He told me that I just had to see a clip on YouTube. One thing led to another… So I looked around and found the original, the inspiration for the rest:

Single ladies - Beyoncé Official Music Video

Andreu Buenafuente is a Catalan late-night show host. Currently his show appears on La Sexta. Recently he featured the same video of Single Ladies by Beyoncé, but dubbed with the flamenco-pop song Paco, Paco, Paco popularized by Encarnita Polo forty years ago. And here is the result:

Beyoncé Single Ladies español Paco Paco Paco

This of course has spawned many parodies. One of the funniest ones is by the comedy team of Rudy y Ruymán who also appeared on Buenafuente’s show. They are a bit like a younger version of Los Morancos.

Beyoncé versión Paco, Paco, Paco (Rudy y Ruymán)

The following clip of Rudy y Ruymán is a parody of a spanish TV ad. It gives you an idea of Spanish humor and what you can see OTA. Tomas falsas means “bad takes”.

That "skit" has been used before on a TV commercial... I think it was Danish or German or Swedish or something like that...

The guy on the left has a nice body - for a non-furry guy! :-)

My favorite is still the parody filming of the video on Saturday Night Live in the US featuring Justin Timberlake and two of the other SNL men as "the dancers". I have never laughed so hard in my life I think. Unfortunately, YouTube has taken down the full parody.
